Apartment Days

Sunday… it’s already here. I’m not going to ask why this keeps happening and just go with the flow. I love my home, I love weekends, and it’s really hard to leave and go to work, but it has to be done!

Yesterday was a pretty boring day. Phoebe and I stayed in my apartment all day long. I wasn’t feeling that great, so we just hung out around home, took a nap, organized my pantry and closet, and cleaned up. Sounds like a rainy day huh? Nope. It was sunny and warm, of course the only day this week it’s nice out and I feel terrible. It’s supposed to rain here again all week. Bummer

When I was starting to feel a little better Phoebe and I went for a really long walk. This was the longest walk we went on! About 25 minutes. Each time we go a little farther.

Like I said the other day, the people in the lobby and my neighbors go crazy for Phoebs. It’s like she’s a celebrity on a red carpet “Phoebe OVER HERE!” “Phoebe you are ADORABLE!” “Phoebe look this way, you LOOK STUNNING” “What is that collar you are wearing!?”

Okay so I added a few of those… šŸ˜‰

My meals were all over the place yesterday since I woke up late and took naps too. It was mostly a protein shake kind of day since I didn’t feel like cooking. I did have real food at one point

After getting a second wind I decided to workout for about 40 minutes. Just a quick session. My diet has been more on point these past few days, so I haven’t been killing myself with the workouts as much since I am not feeling well. Body changes are about 70% diet and only 30% gym!Ā <—– When all else fails go back and read this. It’s diet that matters most.

I also touched on a little back and biceps, but not too much. Just enough to feel some burn.

When I came back upstairs I made some nut butter. This is all kinds of nuts! Almonds, walnuts, pecans, sunflower seeds, cashews, pine nuts, soy nuts, and then a sprinkle of chia seeds. I made a batch for my friend and her boyfriend too! (She’s competing in 2 weeks- go girl!)

Slapped on a rice cake. I bought new ones that are "wild rice". I didn't care for them. They tasted stale!

Around 930 my BFF DiPeppe and her hubby Greg came over! They wanted to see my new place and Phoebe. Phoebe just adores Greg. He’s her boyfriend. In the 20 minutes they were here I managed to shake a protein shake all over my kitchen (FAIL- the top wasn’t on) and then shatter a drinking glass. Biggest klutz ever.

Today I am hoping to be back to my normal self. Lots to do! Meal preps take forever, and I plan on slamming a pretty serious leg day.
