Things Are Getting Easier

Good Morning to all! I hope you had a wonderful holiday. If you had a hotdog or two no worries, get back in the gym and sweat it off 🙂

Yesterday was day 3 of my prep and even though it is only 3 days I feel like it is already getting easier. I adapt to a healthy lifestyle very quickly, so it almost feels like I’ve been doing it for a few weeks! As you know I like structure and organization. This is just another way of me being able to do that. I look at the clock and say yes, 11:30am time to prepare meal #2! Needless to say I’ve been off for 4 days so it’s been easier. I’m actually glad I picked this holiday weekend to start because it gave me a few days to adjust before jumping into the work week (just two days- heck yeah!).

I started my morning with the same breakfast and coffee (the splash of half and half is getting easier and yummy now!), and then got dressed for the gym.

I did chest and triceps. Mostly chest presses, fly’s for the chest, then dips, pushdowns, and overhead extensions for the triceps. Don’t forget to check out my workout tab for ideas. Me posting over and over has gotten a little old 😉

I also did more spin interval fun and the stair master. Total of 45 minutes!

After, I went back to G-Mama’s to pick up Phoebe. Thanks mama for watching my girl for me! You’re the best 🙂 Oh and I ate in the car… life of a NPC prepper!

I came home to shower, eat meal #3 and then we went to DiPeppes!

I packed up DiPeppe and Greg (hubby) a little goody box! I already gave them a housewarming gift, but as I was going through my cabinets I didn’t want to throw some of the food out so I gave it to them.

That bottle of wine I had sitting in my apartment for a good year and a half. I used it as a rolling pin!

Phoebe had such a great time again. She LOVES running in their huge yard. And she loves DiPeppe and Greg! Greg said she looks like a show dog. Darn right! I’m such a proud mama.

DiPeppe and I laughed about the poses I have to do as an NPC bikini competitor. She knows it is SO not me. Me with sex appeal? Please. I’ll be lucky if I don’t trip on the heels.

When I came home I made a FLUFF! I am allowed a banana for meal #5 so I froze it and made a fluff with it. This was all the things I eat for meal 5 with some more ice cubes to make it fluffy.

It tasted amazing after a few days of no fluff. Yum Yum Yum.

I packed up a few boxes and watched tv (embarrassing… Saved by the Bell DVDs… hey I found them while packing! Zack Morris is a hottie).

Then made dinner and prepared for the Bachelorette! I wasn’t sure about Des, but I grew to love her very quickly. She looks so much like Katie Holmes too.

I was texting G-Mama the whole time. I was cracking up at home. If only we could watch together…

Today is going to be my first day at work in prep mode. I’m a little nervous, but I think I can do it. My coach has me on 4 meals instead of 5 and decreased cardio. Depending on the day and if I am in the OR I tried to make a schedule for myself with eating. I’m shooting for meal times at 8am, 12pm, 4 or 430pm (when I leave), and 730-8pm. I think this is going to work!

I also have to weigh in first thing in the morning. I’m a little nervous about this because I think it is going to be higher, but I have to remember that number doesn’t mean squat!

Speaking of squat, I’ll be hitting legs again later today too. I loved that workout and my coach is having me repeat one workout a week that I already have done, it will help to build muscle faster.

  1. Woohoo only 2 days this week!! You probably feel like you’ve been doing it for a couple weeks, because you were already eating healthy, seems like there isn’t much difference between then and now to me 🙂 Your hair is so long!!!
