What Day Is It?

Hi Friends!

Where have I been? Well, I have been choosing not to talk about my career anymore just to separate that part of my life, but I’ve been working! If you followed me WAY back in the beginning you may remember I used to work night shift and as I first starting blogging I had started a new job where I could see the light of day. This week I went back to the night shift grind (not permanent, but will fill in as necessary) and BOY OH BOY it was a little rough on ALL OF US!

I had no problems staying up of course because it’s busy, but my body was not liking the disturbance and neither was a certain fluff ball.

She missed me A LOT! The good news was that she pretty much had someone home at all times. I would leave for the gym mid afternoon and go to work, Tony would be getting off work, he’d gym, and then come home. She was maybe alone 3-4 hours out of the day.

Please excuse her crumbs in her fur 😛

Speaking of Mr. Tony. We were able to see each other for about 5 minutes on Wednesday in the gym before I had to shower and leave.

As you can tell, I was a little excited via Snap chat. It was super hard not seeing him this week, but you have to be an adult sometimes I guess 😉

I’m finished my shifts for the week and as I type this feeling hungover from a short nap… I’m still SUPER pumped about date night tonight with my guy. Since I’ve decided not to compete, we have one night a week where we go out and enjoy ourselves. Usually this happens on a Saturday, but since I’m working again on Sunday we are moving it up to today. I think pizza is in our future, but maybe I can talk him into that Mexican I’ve been craving

Do you guys have regular date nights? If so, do you trade off on picking places?

ALSO, for those interested, FLEXonline.com is streaming the Olympia live tonight at 7pm. I was a little disappointed to see that they were not streaming pre-judging, but you can watch finals. Bikini, figure, fitness, and bodybuilding pre-judging is tonight. I’ll be streaming if I’m home in time, but definitely following either way!

I’m rooting for Justine Munro.

She came in second at the Arnold to Ashley Kaltwasser and tonight Ashley will be trying to defend her title for year 3! I can’t wait to see it go down.

So that’s this week in a nutshell. Eager to get back to the normal flow of every day life. Turns out I haven’t missed night shift these past few years 😉

Have a FABULOUS FRIDAY!

XOXO With a Cherry On Top,

-Minnie
