NYE 2015

Hey gang! Happy New Years Eve!

Last year I only made one resolution for myself: BE HAPPY.

I went back to that blog post to see what I wrote and I talked about a to do list, rather than a resolution list. My main focus was trying to keep up my social life. I think I did a pretty good job of that! I definitely had my hermit moments, but for the most part I went out, I lived it up here and there, and I started dating again like a normal person (something I rarely talk about, I know).

Of course the highlight of 2014 for me was competing!

I worked so hard to acheive that look and I’m very proud that I was able to place with absolutely no help. No trainer, coach, or nutritionist. I did have a great support system and a posing coach, but my transformation was done all by myself.

I went on great blog trips this year, and formed partnerships with amazing brands. I’m hoping to grow my blog even more in 2015, I have no intentions on stopping my writing anytime soon.

2015 I’m focusing on pushing my body to the limits and putting on more muscle.

I also want to work on not living in the past. Things happen, people come and go, and I’m often guilty of thinking back on old times. I know I have many good times ahead of me and I want to focus on those instead 🙂

Again, I just want to be happy and laugh as much as possible. My real new years resolution though is to BE MYSELF. I really want all of you to make this resolution too. We get too caught up in trying to please others or be someone else. Just be who you are and those that really matter will stick around.

So what are my New Years Eve plans? Well I still have no idea. It might be one of those last minute decisions. Or who knows… maybe I’ll end up crashing on the couch at 10pm. Oh what a wild party animal I am! 😉

Also a big thank you to my amazing friend Patricia, who sent me this little care package.

Face and skin serum and caramel sea salt truffles that are 25 calories a piece. This girl is a keeper.

Have a happy and safe New Years Eve and I’ll see ya in 2015!
